A rainy day at Trocadero (Eiffel Tower special)

So, today I found myself at Trocadero for a photo shoot that didn't last much but it gave us some quality photos. I got there a bit early, so I took advantage of my time and I got some photos. You know how people go to the Eiffel Tower and take photos mainly of the Eiffel Tower? So did I, but I took some other aspects of the area, which I will prefer to give you today. Behold:

I'm ashamed to admit that I have no idea about the protest that took place today at Trocadero. There were many people and some bikers from all around Europe.
On the background, the base of the Eiffel Tower. You may recognize this area from many photos taken by tourists.
Here you can see some people on the second level. Or not? Some times I think that this blog doesn't exactly provide a lot of information, does it?
I know that you cannot see any details here, but you may click on the photos and see them bigger on a slideshow.
So, everywhere exist barbarians that show no respect to monuments. This is a great example.
As you can see, in the previous photo the Eiffel Tower is imitating the one of Pisa. So, I had to do some cropping and bring it back straight. As a phallic symbol should be.

At Saint-Georges area

Circumstances brought me at the Saint-Georges area today, where I had the chance to take a few photos. I'm glad to present three of them to you right now.

The church of Sainte Trinité. As usual, a huge building with too much decoration, too complicated for its supposed purpose which is to bring people closer to their god.
Are all these extras necessary? By the way, the sky looks much better here!
At the same time, on the other side of the street, the residences for humans look like little boxes. Although they have this nice classic architecture, there's a difference between the church and the houses, isn't there?
It's a good thing that these pictures I'm posting aren't overexposed. This way I can have the houses and the sky.
"One French out of four has immigrant origins." How can you not love such messages? Especially now, that the stupidity rate in Europe seems to go upwards.
The edited version has nicer colours, I think. And the "one out of four" thing, in other areas of Europe is even more.
Am I improving in editing? I'd like to read an opinion, here or in the Facebook page. This is the 40th post and there are more to come! Thanks for reading!

Mosaics of the auditorium

At the auditorium of Sarah Bernhardt square, there are some nice mosaics, to which I will dedicate today's post. I found them too interesting to just ignore their existence. Also, I had the chance to see huge differences while editing. Let's see.
This is on the wall and on the floor, whose perimeter is used also as a pigeon bathroom. There are tons of light here, but they don't burn up the place.
This means that we can edit it and make the details show better. Very nice artwork, indeed.
This one is on the floor. Still a lot of light, which is not fair for the person or people who used so skillfully the little stones like three dimensional pixels.
Luckily, with some light manipulation, I believe that we have a better result now. I used a bit more saturation than usual, in an effort to intensify the colours even more.
Yeah, we have a third photo today. And there are still many nice shapes there. This one is also on the floor.
Some extra saturation was used here as well. Much better, right?
